Political and social views of young people in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus and their socio-political engagement are diverse and sometimes contradictory. Some of them benefit from the globalised opportunities of a world without borders, while others stay put and look nostalgically at a past they did not experience themselves.

The comparative Youth Study on Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus looks into these phenomena, with data collected in-between 2017 and 2019.
