In Morocco, the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung's youth study from 2023 shows a generation navigating significant challenges such as unemployment and social insecurity, yet remaining largely satisfied and confident about their current situation. Family continues to play a central role, serving not only as a core social value but also as a vital source of support and stability in times of uncertainty. At the same time, young people display low levels of trust in political institutions and limited engagement in formal politics, including elections. However, this does not signal disengagement altogether—many instead turn to alternative, non-conventional forms of participation to express their views and pursue change.
